Saturday Lunch Pop-Up

A rotating line-up of local kitchens, chefs and independent food businesses taking over Saturday lunch. Currently: The Holy Mackerel, 12–3pm.

Something different every few months.

Our Saturday Lunch Pop-Ups bring exciting local kitchens, chefs and independent food businesses into the pub for a rotating lunchtime residency.

Over the years, we’ve hosted the likes of Emerald Eats, Pears for Lunch by Ben Lippett, Paddy Wok, and many more, bringing an ever-changing mix of flavours and ideas to Nunhead.

From Irish and Indian to Caribbean, Greek and proper street food, every pop-up brings its own menu, personality and take on Saturday lunch. You might discover a new local favourite one month and find something completely different waiting for you the next.

Current Collab: The Holy Mackerel

Starting life as a street food brand, The Holy Mackerel serves big, bold fish burgers with a proper Irish twist – crispy, punchy and packed with flavour, served with a signature jalapeño tartare sauce and seriously good sides. Served 12–3pm.
